This is a network traffic analyzer.
NADetector monitors and analyzes the network traffic. It displays packet level data. You are shown the source and destination addresses. Sent data, received data, packets sent and received, total packets and data, date & time and finally the protocol used are shown. The full display area is used to show you data in a tabular form. Looking at these details, you will be able to study what kind of data is being carried over the network and according to what protocols. This will tell you if the traffic pattern is normal or something unusual is happening in your network. Network administrators and users will be able to troubleshoot network problems. The NADetector allows you to collect statistical information about your network traffic that passes through network adapters and display incoming, outgoing and summary traffic statistics. This has a simple and easy to use interface. It is intuitive enough that most users should get familiar with it quite easily. Getting productive with it should not take much time.
The data presented is at a very low level. Thus you, as an administrator, need to study a lot of data and understand a bundle of detail to conclude if there is any problem happening. To effectively use this tool then, calls for quite a bit of detailed level understanding of network interactions. At this level, it is really not for novice users but for IT experts with deep understanding of the networking technologies. This is a good product. It has many useful features.
